Only 3 in every 1000 sexual assaults worldwide result in a conviction, that's a conviction rate of just 0.3% and in Nigeria, that number is even lower.

The Nigerian justice system places the burden of proving rape or sexual assault on the survivor and this process breaks down because the majority of victims do not have access to or can afford a competent counsel.

 

To remove this barrier, we're seeking to build a public directory of lawyers and law firms in all the states in Nigeria who are experienced with dealing with sexual assault and abuse cases and will like to be more accessible to people who might need their services to help bring sexual predators or abusers to justice.
